The Retail Leaders Forum was organised in May 2017 by Local Data Company and CDRC at the University of Oxford. Academics (incl. Paul Longley, Jonathan Reynolds, Alex Singleton and Les Dolega), retailers (Tesco, Dixons Retail, Clarks, O2)  and practitioners (LDC) met to discuss the contemporary challenges facing retailers in the digital era and the role of data in meeting these challenges. Following the presentations from both academics and practitioners, delegates discussed questions evolving around 4 themes: People, Places, Data & Insights and Collaboration between Academia and Business.
